Not making the money you thought you would trading stocks?

Here's some ideas to consider if you are serious about improving your stock trading results.

Do you have money? I'm not talking about "gambling" money. I'm talking about serious business money. Money you are willing to use to increase your capital. Money that isn't "scared". Scared money never lasts. If you want improved trading results, then you need to trade when the opportunity to place a low risk trade occurs. If you don't have enough firepower for those situations, forget it.

Still here? Good. Next thing. Are you willing to learn? Willing to learn the ins and outs of this business? Take the time to find a method of trading that suits you. Find out if you are a long term investor, a day trader, a Fibonacci trader, a swing trader, a momentum trader. Educate yourself by reading, charting, and ... doing actual trades.

And one of the most important things to consider is ... know how your broker works. Understand the different types of orders your broker accepts - day orders, stop orders, limit orders, etc. Trust me when I tell you this will come back to haunt you.

Stock trading *can* be a lucrative business if you take the time to master the essentials.
